I'm using a ATI AIW 7500 on Win2000 and installed the btwincap.sourceforge driver but do not know how to tell if my capture software is using it? In device manager the new driver is showing up but with a ! next to it. So how do you tell if the new driver is being used?
Thanks

The ! next to the driver is indicating that whilst the driver is installed, it is not functioning correctly. I would guess that it is conflicting with the existing ATI drivers installed on your system.
It is very difficult to get multiple drivers operating correctly on a Windows system, usual practice is to deinstall the existing drivers and then reinstall the new ones. -
If you want to use different drivers than the ATI ones, you MUST remove those first....
