Smart Ripper Help

Hi all, Im new to all this stuff just 2 questions:

First, here is what it says when I use Smart Ripper :
ASPI-Adaptor available
try to lunlock drive...
no ASPI access to this drive
switch to WinIO
test file access....

goes through a bunch

VTS_01_1.V0B-> WinIO locked

Then a popup comes and says "Some files are still locked ! Try to unlock with a player.

So im not sure what to do because nothing will write??


Also can someone direct me to a guide for converting DVD to SVCD? I looked at Sefy(s) but since I cant get the first part working im not sure if this outputs to SVCD? If it does just tell me thanks

Sefy's are some of the best.....but sometimes you have to fill in some of the gaps by yourself.....
Anyhow...I always play the dvd on my pc using powerdvd or what have you...then when you get into the movie..hit pause...and open smartripper...I've never had anyfiles locked that way. Once smartripper starts ripping you can close powerdvd or other app.

As for your problem, make sure you installed an ASPI Layer for your windows and that it's v4.61 (not v4.7x!) and i'm pretty sure everything will work great!
