  3. Actually I found a Pioneer a04 for $245, but I wanted to buy locally in case I wanted to return. Picked up the Cendyne, on the back it says model DVR-104, so it looks like the Pioneer.

I also picked up a Cendyne DVR-104 yesterday but haven't opened it as I wanted to clear up on some things. I was told from some friends to get the Pioneer A04 and the guy at MicroCenter swore it was the exact same. He said the Pioneer A04 is a repackaged Cendyne DVR-104. Is that correct? Like is it just as good and as fast and everything? I just would like to know what everyone thinks? Is it a keeper?

    Thanks,
    Danny
