I have a AverMedia TV Studio TV card with all the latest drivers and windows XP. When ever I use Virtual Dub and try to capture at 640*480 24RGB or any thing else that is not 320*240 "Error 418 unsuported video format." What can I do? WIth windows ME I never had this problem.

ABit KR7A-Raid
768MB PC2700 Ram
2 x 80GB 7200RPM HD in Raid 0
SoundBlaster Audigy
AverMedia TV Studio
Windows XP

sounds like you are using 2K or XP. go to this site http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/
and install this drivers. worked for me.
