    i am trying to convert avi to dvdr but run into problems . spruce up does all the work but when i go to burn the video
    -ts file it says DVD-VIDEO reallocation failed. can any one help me get passed this to burn to dvd r. i am using nero5.5.8.2

  2. would it not be better to encode the avi with cce or tmpgenc which would give you more control over the size and quality and then import resultin file into your authoring program

  3. He's right...use TMPGenc for the encoding, spruce for the authoring and Nero for the burning...

    Reallocation error might be a diskspace problem, since spruce copies teh final result to it's working dir.

    i use tmpgenc and i use dvd mode and it gives the same thing

  6. well that depends...

    If you encode for pal, make a pal dvd project.
    if you encode for ntsc, make a ntsc project.

    depending on what country you are in.

    Framerate converion or wrong framerate may be yoru problem.
