I recently downloaded a file a friend had sent to me in SVCD format. I wanted to make the video compatible on my standard alone DVD Player, but according to the compatable list, my DVD player does not play SVCDs.
I'd hate to have to convert it to something of lower quality because the picture quality is perfect and I don't want to loose that. So I tried to fool my DVD Player with the trick of giving it a VCD Header like vcdhelp.com instructed. I did everything they said to do, but after it finished multiplexing it gave me the error: 31748 s packets cause buffer underflow. The MPEG file might cause error when it played. (What does this mean? And how do I stop that?)
So, I played it on both my Real One Player and WM Player and I get audio but no video. I also burned it anyway just to see what it would do, and it does not play on my stand alone DVD Player.
What am I doing wrong?
