    I am in Australia and was wondering where I can buy a APEX DVD player (AD-1500)... Do we (Australia) have the same player badged as something else ???

    yes some of the new apex players have problem with VCDs... sad really, death of such a great player if ya ask me.

    What would everyone recommend as a replacement for a DEAD AD1500? (needs VCD and SVCD as well as good DVD-R compatability)
