  1. alright ill try to explain as short as possible. HAd windvr working but capturing was off. I talked to visiontech they told me to install the newest WDM drivers 1.11 which didnt work right so they told me to install the updated display drivers from their website. SO I did and everything seem to work fine. I went and ran windvr only to have a error screen pop up (the send or dont send error screen)So then i deleted them all and reinstalled my original drivers from my disk with my extasy everything card thinking it would just return to the old self. NO shot still comes up with the error screen. I have done a reinstall(repair) xp and the damn error screen still pops up, my windvd works but windvr will not work. i ran dr watson here is what he said
    Application exception occurred:
    App: C:\Program Files\InterVideo\WinDVR\WinDVR.exe (pid=1964)
    When: 8/10/2002 @ 13:53:16.111
    Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)

    and the send or dont send error screen said this;
    "AppName: windvr.exe AppVer: 1.5.11.2 ModName: mfc42.dll

    ModVer: 6.0.8665.0 Offset: 00020b2a"

    I would be greatly in debt to whomever helps. Thanks

    I do not have the Xtasy everything but I have the Ti4600 from Visiontek & I am using the 1.18 WDM capture drivers form their website.
    Using WinDVR 2.0 ( not 1.5 ) I captured into MPEG 1 & MPEG 2 & I did not have any problems with it.
    What type of a sound card do you have? I used to have Creative Audigy & I had alot of problems with the Audio being out of Sync, then I purchased the Turtle Beach Santa Cruise & now I do not have any problems with the audio.
    Suggestion, try feeding the Audio through the sound card & the video through the Visiotek card & try capturing again, see what will happen
    Any other questions on Visiontek email me.
    I have been playing with this card & their drivers for several weeks now.
