I used TMPEGEnc to combine 2 MPEG2 files. (cut/merge option in "tools") Unfortunately, the drop-down only gave option for svcd, not DVD.

I chose svcd MPEG2, and encoded. it worked, and I opened it in Ulead DVD studio.

when I began burning, instead of saying burning DVD 1X, it said burning CD 9X, and it was burning to a DVD. Will this affect anything? how do I get TMPEGEnc to do this task for DVD use?

DVDR 1x is about cdr 9x speed.
And in tmpenc select just mpeg2 stream, no svcd.

There are two MPEG2 choices under the drop down tab,

one says "MPEG2 Program (VBR) "

and the other says "MPEG2 SVCD (VBR)"

I didn't understand what "program" meant, and ALSO I am using CBR, not VBR and I was wondering what difference that would make.
