  1. I have an occasional stuttering problem when converting divx to SVCD using TMPGEnc. I think I've narrowed down the problem the DIVX was 23.97 FPS but when converting to MPEG under SVCD I believe it forces 29.97. I am unsure as to whether or not the FPS difference would cause stutters the max bit rate is 2496, avg bitrate is 2496, and min bitrate is 1000 and I am using the RCA 5240P which has the ability to play higher bitrate so I don't believe it's a bitrate problem. I used Biterate Viewer and the biterate never went below 1700. Any suggestions or ideas?

  2. I guess it's my player because I tested the in the downstairs Samsung 1000V and no stutters. I have a bunch of downloaded SVCDs and this is the only one that stutters on playback and i have no idea why?
