Ok, I have a AverMedia TV Studio capture card.
I have previously had it working fine but it is now capturing out of sync, this happens with all software.
I have noticed that when I actually capture... this happens... it the sound paused for a second, there is a click and then it appears to be capturing ok. But what it is in fact doing, is making a second silence at the beginning of the video (hence making it all out of sync) and then seems to squash the audio in (making the audio length wrong).
I know this because I have used virtual dub to 'move' the sound so it is in synce again, but the length is then wrong as the clip goes on.
Now, I am convinced there is a way to sort this out as it has previously been working spot on (on W98, I now use W2K).
Is it something to do with a setting in audio properties in Windows or something?
This is very strange and I am determined to find an answer and so I would appreciate advice from anybody.
Thanks a million... Gray.
(PS) Thanks to the guy who replied to my last post!
