Hi,
What is the difference between Pioneer DVR-A04 and DVR-104? I have placed a bid for an A04 on eBay. However, I have noticed in the description of the product in some places he refers to A04 and in one place to 104. I am wondering what is the difference. Thanks in advance.
btw - my bid is for $285 plus $20 shipping. Is this a good price at this time?

I believe the DVR-104 is the OEM version. The A04 is the retail version. The OEM version is listed for $240 plus shipping at pricewatch.com.

A04 is retail box, A104 is OEM white box (tho I got software along with my A104 for some reason). I think the price is OK for an A04, but you can purchase from an internet with a good return policy for the same price rather than dealing with ebay. A104 should be available for around $255 + shipping. Use the price search at techbargains.com.

Hmmmm... Our local stores sell the DVR-104 for less than what you bid.
