I was backing up a dvd and I ripped the ac3 stream, but spruce, tmpg, maestro all read it as an illegal stream and won't import it. Rempeg just hangs when I go to convert it. However powerdvd plays it perfectly. I figure I need to fix or convert this thing somehow, but I don't know how. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

what do you mean tmpgenc will not "import" it as it can not import ac3 anyway ... convert it w/ besweet to import it in tmpgenc --

Sounds like you need to re-rip the .AC3 stream again. How ever you obtained the stream, somehow it got corrupted. Spruceup is a stickler on having things in order.
