Please help...
VirtualDub say's no capture devices, and couldnot identify any drivers.
Here is what i did. When I first installed Wintv GO card all worked fine including Wintv2000, Ulead and Vdub. Next I wanted to install tweaked drivers from http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/, then the problems started. After installing this driver all the applications din't work, I tried reinstalling all the applications couple of times but din't work. So I reinsatalled all the Drivers tha came with the Card. Now WinTV applications and Ulead Video Studio works but Vdub is not recognizing the drivers. Can any one guide me how to get Vdub work again. Thanks.

The software you use to install the generic drivers can be used to remove ALL capture card drivers from your system. After doing that, abort the program, then reinstall your original drivers.
Just a side note: I use that drive for my ATI Wonder VE capture card. The auto detection the generic driver program uses doesn't work well. You may want to try and setup your card manually. -
Thank You Patrick,
I have tried installing manually by specifing the location and still Vdub doesn't recognize. -
You need to install VFW drivers, not WDM drivers. To use your WDM drivers, download and use VirtualVCR instead of Virtualdub to capture video.

It happened to me before but I have ATI TV Wonder VE card. Anyway, what I did was unistall and reinstall the cd that came with my card. I then went to Control Panel/Add New Hardware and find the best driver there is which is your capture card driver. Rebooted the system and vdub now detects it. Hope this helps.

You didn't complete your profile so its hard to guess at your settings.
The problem is not with your hardware.
The answers you got about the drivers are accurate. If you are running win98se you will not be able to use Virtualdub for capture with "wdm drivers" which are the type you tried to install from the site you name.
If you are running XP you may want to look for a VFW Wrapper which will let you use Vdub to capture with wdm drivers but you may find that your capture size resolution may be limited.
WDM drivers and directshow filter based applications are the newest way to design capture applications. These are based on the free Microsoft limited sample called "AMCAP". There are a number of freeware versions out that have added some extra features. One is also called "amcap" and another as already said is virtualvcr. There are demos also like Powervcr II (not PVCRI) and Intervideo's WINCODER which will let you capture MPEG1 and MPEG2.
The drivers are much faster and you can capture full size with no dropped frames. I would'nt be too quick to give up on wdm driver based apps.
Since I run WIN98SE I had to give up Virtualdub as my capture app but its still great for many other things.
If you still want to get rid of the drivers delete the 4 references in your system device settings. (Crossbar, tuner, video cap and audio cap).
If you have references in your windows inf directory then you will need to delete of rename those too in case windows auto installs them again. (I usually change the name to inb in case I want them again.
If they are not in the "INF" dir then the reference may be in the dir you pointed to in your original install so just move it.
Then re-install your original as was already stated. There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.
