  1. Hi guys..
I've been using TMPEG for quite some time and never had any problems
with converting AVI files to VCD.
I downloaded a movie split in 2 AVI files and tried to convert it to VCD.
This time around it's not working properly though.
As a result, the MPG file only has audio but no image. I thought the problem was most likely a divX codec one. I downloaded and installed all the latest divX codecs but still no picture. I am also using the latest version of TMPEG so it can't be the prob. I suppose it's a fairly common problem for newbies. Can anyone help?

    1. You may need a newer Microsoft codec. Try playing the AVI's in Media Player and allow WMP to download the appropriate codec.

    2. You may need to adjust the order of the VFAPI settings under Environment in TMpeg.

    3. You may have a converted Quicktime 6 file which uses a version of Mpeg4.

    4. You may need an Intel Indeo or ATI or Huffyv codec. (Available from Intel, ATI or the Tools section respectively).

    5. If it plays correctly in WMP then it may be a renamed ASF or WMA file.

    6. If you can set in and out points within TMpeg, then you may need to change versions or get the VFAPI.bat file to adjust the registry.
