  1. OK, I tried Virtual dub and got it more or less working but have encoutered a problem.

    I entered vaoture mode. Set the video format at 352x480 and set the compression at Huffyuv. Then then set the sound at Cd quality and recorded the movie. When I watched it was tall and skinny which I suspect is the way it is suppose to be until I encode to the proper format of 352x240.

    My problem is there was no sound. I can hear sound when capturing it but when I tried to play it in Media Player there was no sound at all. What have I done wrong?
    Not only am I perfect but I'm Canadian too!

  2. I found a way to fix it but now I know the exact problem. It's using the microphone in for sound capture and not the line in. Is there a way to select which to use?

    Try using your capture software to set the line in first

  6. My software that came with the card has it set to line in and thats where the sound is captured. Virtualdub and Vegas Video seem to need the sound to coem in the mic and don;t have a setting to change it to line in which they should.
