  1. I downloaded a couple movies from kazaa in .avi. I converted them to mpg using tmpgenc. I used the soften block filter in tmpgence and converted them. I then viewed them before burning them with VCDEasy. They looked fine, but once I burnt them and played them on my TV dVD player I get a bunch of blocks of colors during scenes with lots of movement. Is there anything I can do to fix this. I use the generic mmc raw driver in VCDeasy and CD-RWs to burn with. I have been trying to figure how to do this on my own, but I've already wasted a bunch of CDs and could use some help. Thanks

crap in = crap out. you have to have a good source. the only thing i can suggest is to encode your movie with a higher bitrate, but that is of course NO guarantee

If the artifacts are present on the AVI's there is very little you can do about it. The strength needed to blend one frame, could obliterate the next frame completely.

If the original AVI's don't have the problems, then it could well be things on your computer that can cause these problems, DirectShow priority not set high enough, Installing the SMR (Angel portion) is a cause of violet, pinkish colour. etc
