Did any one try DVD2DVD?

This program runs only on Win NT, 2000 and XP. As I use Win 98, I wondered if any one has tried this program.

Did really no-one ever tried this program?
(I was told that it was similar to DVD2SVCD, but only specialized to create a DVD)

I downloaded the dvd2dvd-r 014b but could not get it to work, my windows xp gives me an error message of (runtime errror 13 type mismatch). It does come with instructions but they are in german.
