  1. what program can i use to make a menu(so that i can use the "next" button on my DVD remote)? like i have
    5 different mpegs, and i am gonna make a VCD.

  2. Some options here.

    If you just burn the 5 MPEG files using NERO (or any other VCD burning software), it will automatically produce tracks that you can jump between with your FWD & BACK buttons. However, NERO also has a built in menu creator letting you add your own back grounds and then text for each track. You could also go and make a nice professional looking menu in any package that produces JPG or BMP files and just import these into the background for the menu.

    Where NERO falls down is that if you have a single large MPG file you cannot jump to points within it. However, with VCDEasy you can and guess waht I just found on this site - see link below.

  3. Where Nero also falls down are that its menus are authored correctly either and don't work on many software DVD proggies and even some stand-alone players.

    I suggest that you use VCDImager +/- a GUI like VCDEasy.
