  1. Hi,

I have a 20 min animation with some bad dropouts which I want to fix. I used VirtualDub to export an image sequence of the offending segment and was going to use the good frames I have to replace the bad frames. Before I go to all this work, however, the help files in VirtualDub aren't working and I can't seem to find an info on "inserting" the fixed image sequence back into the show when I am done.

    Any help?

    Thanks,
    zim

You cant insert a single frame in Vdub, the only hope you have would be to load your images into a program that does animation, then save them out as AVI. Like Animation Shop 3 that comes with Paint Shop Pro, it can save as AVI.

If there is no sound, the you can re-join the AVI's with append in Vdub

You can also load the whole AVI into Animation Shop 3, and then you can copy and paste the frames.

  3. Thanks...I'll give it a try when I can...it has sound so I'm not sure what the best route is...maybe Premiere?

Probably easier to jump to the nearest keyframe and cut the section out
