Looking for dvd r media for pioneer dvr A03 Help!!!!

I bought a pioneer dvr-A03 for my power mac g4 last December. At the time cdrecordable.com was in business. I bought dvd r media from them and it worked great! I ran out recently I went back to cdrecordable.com and it is out of business I then bought meritline dvd r media and tdk dvd r media. They are both general use and both played in my computer but not in my dvd player. I used the cdrecordable.com dvd r and it worked in my computer and dvd player. It is a sony 5 disc Dvp-C670D. Any dvd r out there that works. Ive spent $40 in the last few weeks trying different stuff. Im lost. Any suggestioins? HELP!!!
