  1. I'm in the process of resync'ing the audio to a Divx file which I created using Dvdx 1 7. I used TMPGEnc to make adjustments to the audio on the original file Divx file since the audio in the Divx file was not in sync with the video. And, I've created a series of MPEG-1 files; I've been trying different time adjustments to try to get the audio correctly sync'ed with the video. However, the newly revised file(s) which I created is an MPEG-1 file which I have been unable to view using the most recent version of Media Player (7.1). I am wondering what I have either done wrong or what I'm missing. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Also, thanks to the contributors/developers of this site. The resources which you guys provide on this site have been of great help.

  2. I'm not to good at this but Media Player doesn't play alot of things it happens to me all the time. This may be completly wrong but try to play the file in alot of other programs and when you find one that does work then try to play it media player and it should work.

  3. First, thanks for the response.
I just tried one of the newly sync'ed files on a different computer and I was able to get both audio and video; this second computer is an older machine. So, I'm still thinking that there is something missing on the original/newer PC. And, since the newer pc in question was set up for movie editing work, I'd still like/need to figure out what is going wrong.
