    i made a vcd that worked on my pc (windvd) but wouldn't work on my stand alone dvd. the reason i think is because when i was making it i made it was pal not ntsc. how do i check which one it is? and i used vcdeasy so how do i make it with ntsc? thank you!

    my standalone is hitachi 305! thx again(sorry about poor english)

    You logic is good ...that could be the problem...If you encoded with TMPG you can pick the template to encode with either PAL or NTSC.

    But I looked up your stand alone on the compatiblity chart and the only 305's did not suport CDR or CDRW's ....This could more likely be the problem...see link.
