    I'm converting a Rip of Charlies Angels. It is a 16:9 movie. Under the Advanced Tab in TMPGEnc for Source Aspect Ratio do I use

    16:9 525 Line (NTSC) or
    16:9 Desplay

    Sometimes what the original DVD says has nothing to do with what you set the source aspect ratio to.... My way is trial and error....set the source at what you think it should be...then goto file and preview...does the widescreen bar take up half the screen or does it look normal...I repeat this till I get a setting that gives me the smallest bars and an undistorted picture.... The I encode.
