  1. Ok here is my problem my video is recorded in wide screen when i attept to use nero to put it on a video cd it compacts it all and everyone in my video looks tall and skinny because the widescreen gets all compressed into the screen. Is there a way for me to set up nero so it will burn in widescreen mode so that my vcd player will play it at wide screen insted of all compressed.

  2. Stretched and Skinny...

If I understand you correctly... Your source video is cropped to a 16:9 or 2.35:1 aspect ratio. It is not letterboxed, does not include black bars above and below, it is only the visible video itself - correct?

Well, I avoid using Nero for anything involving video, I prefer using my own skills rather than the automatic functions of such programs. I can check and get back to you concerning Nero... BUT I prefer to encode to MPEG-1 using TMPGEnc, which has facilities for automatically adding the letterboxing for you within defined parameters. I am certain there are guides here at VCDHelp that cover everything you need to know about letterboxing and aspect ratios, perhaps even hitting on the needed functions within Nero to prevent the distortion you are seeing.
