I have used videostudio 6 to edit my home miniDV movies. Generated a large .avi file from it; its 2 hours 14 min long, about 28 gigs. Anyway, I tried to encode it with TMPEG, but it indicated it would take about 48 hours; ouch. So I tried CCE 2.62 by simply dragging the .avi file to it and trying to encode, I got an error: "Index Too Big". I tried CBR, 1 pass VBR, same erro. Anyone know what that means and how to fix it? Thanks.

Ive tried CCE, but its extreamly picky about the source. At any
rate, its not much faster than TMPGEnc, my suggestion is just
to stick with TMPGEnc for flexibility in source file reading and
the highest quality output in MPEG encoding.
Sorry I couldnt solve your CCE problem, Ive had way too many
unresolvable problems with it so I quit using it all together soon
after installing it. IMHO, it was a wast of money on my part.
Good luck!
