VirtualDub error says:
"Cannot append segment: The video streams have different sampling rates (15.00000 vs. 29.97000)"
This happens when trying to append (combine) the second avi with the first one. Is there anything I can do? How can you change the sampling rate of the file?

You can't, without recoding. However, if your eventual intent is to convert to (S)VCD, convert both individually, and then join the mpegs.

I tried re-encoding but it still says that. How do you change the sampling rate?
