Your question sounds a little vague. I use transition in Ulead VS by going to the Storyboard, dropping each video segment on the time line.

Then, when the segments all are in the time line, I go to the Effects tab and choose the transition I like (that 3D Flying Cube is just too cool). I drop it between the segments I want the transition to take place at. I then stretch each transition to around five seconds or so, to give the viewer a chance to see how cool it is.

Once all is inserted, I select the Finish tab, select Create Movie File, choose the name of my movie, and let VS make the movie file. You can then use TMPGEnc to convert this file to your format you want for your CD.

Did I answer your question well enough?
    Hello.

  3. Basically in any decent editor output the movie to a lossless or near lossless AVI file then use TMPGenc to convert to MPEG.

    crajshree,

Just chose make a video file and keep it in DV format from VideoStudio. Then compress the DV file with TMPGENc.

How can TMPGEnc compress a file?

  6. Well, TMPGEnc encodes, but I suppose you could also say that it has compressed the file due to the fact that the resultant mpeg(vcd) file is much smaller than the DV avi file.
