  1. Has anyone ever done this before? I've looked at the steps on how to do it in the covert section of this website, but when I go to do it does not work. In the project wizard of temegnc (step 2/5) it keeps coming up with a message that says, "file can not open, or unsupported"? Does anyone know what I can do with the file?

  2. This might be covered in the "how to - newbie - tmpgenc common problems" link over on the left.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  3. Thanks, that did help a lot. I'm half way there, although when I go to open the .d2v file to convert it, the file won't open. I went to the help part and it says to make sure you have, "installed the VFAPI plug-in for TMPGEnc to the same folder and run the install.bat file"

But I have no idea what program they are talking about when they say the "install.bat file? Does anyone know what program/file they are referring to there? Any responses are greatly appreciated.

When you downloaded TMPGE you should also have dowloaded and installed VFAPI, unzip it and there will be the install.bat.

  5. But when I pressed the install.bat, it still didn't work. I uninstalled TMPGEnc and reinstalled, it was still not working. Please help.

It may have installed OK but there is no GUI to tell you that. If you still cannot open your file there may be other problems such as file size or corrupted file. I have heard that using DVD2AVI with TMPGEnc 2.01.30.116 may fix the problem.

  8. I accidently good luckly got it working again by reinstalling. So people who still have the problem, you may try reinstalling the software, but remember that you need to put them in the same folder. Good Luck to you all and thank you WADEBBIE.
