  1. How do we use ATI MP2 (DVD) for SpruceUp without encoding? MMC 7.6 said Use this setting to authoring DVD? Please help, thanks.

  2. Just rename the file to .mpg
It may be a good idea to upgrade to MMC 7.7 if you have a Radeon-based AIW (so you can get 48kHz audio).

  4. Is this a dvd rip? Is the audio dvd spec as in 48000khz 384bits and if you ar importing it to spruce up with the .m2v files try naming the file .mpa instead of .mp2 or .mpg. I know from experience when using downloaded .mpeg2 files i have to reencode the audio to dvd and patch the svcd header with dvd patcher to get spruce up to take the file.

  6. The wrong sampling rate is the 44 khz audio standard in MMC 7.6. You need MMC 7.7 for 48 Khz audio, which you must have for DVD.

  7. I upgraded to 7.7 and the extension now is .mpg . still the Invalid Sampling Rate. Any idea? Another question. I wonder if the capture high resolution still box nęd to be checked or unchecked?

  8. Duh - you must capture in MMC 7.7 or better to get the 48 khz audio. Just the upgrade won't do it.

You can take your old file, split audio off with TMPGenc, resample to 48 khz, then remux with TMPGenc & hope there is no audio drift.
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'
