help with this 104 please

just got a 104 dvd wrighter and having probs with it

if a wright a dvd does not mater what disks i use
ie
superior gen 4
datasafe blue top
datasafe gen 3
bulkpaq
bulkpaq gen 3

or if it is a 1:1 copy of a dvd
the last 10mins of the movie locks up
iam geting 1 good copy out of 3 dvdr disks?

any help please

I had the same problem with my retail dvr-104. I replaced it with an OEM 104 and am burning with optodisc oem (silver face) dvd-r's which go for about 1.30 each. Everything is fine now.
