Following Sefy's Ultimate Newbie DVD Conversion guide, I downloaded and used CladDVD XP 1.3 and ripped and frameserved the DVD I wanted to copy.
I wound up with a bunch of vob files and then I used TMPGenc to mark the piece I wanted and create a DVD MPEG file with audio.
I'm trying to convert it to AVI so I can import it into an editing program but I'm having a heck of a time doing so. When I convert it, I get jumpy frames and lossy sound. What am I missing here?
Is there a better way to rip, then convert to AVI that is compatible with AVI made from DV so I can cut them both apart and splice the segments together?
