Hi. I just learned how to copy a dvd movie to a blank cdr and then burn it with nero as a video cd. Well the movie works but their are two problems. During the movie the you can see it stop real quick and then start again. The movie I chose was Kung Pow. I wanted to make a backup since i usually let my dvds get scratched. I followed the how to guide for smartripper and TMPGEnc. The only steps i didn't do was the chapetering and the vcd easy part. Once I encoded is in TMPGEnc I was left with 2 .mpg videos. Because I had to split the movie. Each disk was a little more then 408 MB. The movie just freezes while it is in sequence. It is hard to explain. I guess the real word is it is choppy. What I am doing wrong. I followed all of the steps perfectly according to the guide. Also how could I make the movie a svcd. Which would probably give me better quailty, right? And finally, you can see some of the pixels sometimes during the movie. How do you get rid of them. Someone please help me out. I encoded the movie twice because the first time i did i had the same problem . When i retryed it, the same problems occured
