virtualdub cap problem using an ati aiw

yeah i have a ati aiw 128 and i use virtual dub to capture, i just had reformatted my computer put everything back on and now im trying to capture again but virtual dub says the capture driver isnt installed properly. im wondering whats wrong, i have direct x 8 and got the capture update like atis guide said to do but im really clueless now

If you're using Win 9x make sure WebTV is installed in add/remove programs. If Win 2k it's because it doesn't support vfw drivers only wdm. You can find a wrapper to do the same job though. Checkout rage3d.com, the forums are very useful good luck!
