I captured an avi onto my computer in vcd resolution. Then i tried to get cce to convert it to dvd resolution. It is a black square with the movie in the middle of it so it has big borders all the way around it. How can i correct this or is cce not capable of doing this. Thanks in advance.

natively CCE does not possess the ability "free-form" resize. It can only do 1/2 resize both veritically & horizontally of your source. Which means obviously that it definitely will not "UPsize" any source. You will have to preform this through a framserving application like premiere or virtualdub. However, I do not see why you want to resize your original VCD video, assuming its at 352x240. 352x240 is within DVD specs, all you need to do is add 29.97 fps flags to your stream to make compliant. You can do this by using "pulldown.exe".
