  1. OK, I captured some video using WinCoder in the VCD format. I then used Easy CD Creator to make a VCD and it verified that the file was indeed the prper format. I then tried it in WinDVD and it worked fine. I then tried it in my Toshiba DVD which is suppose to play VCD's and it said Disc Error.

    Did I miss a step or something?

    Is there a brand of CD's I need to work in a DVD player as I know some music Cd's won't work in some stereo's so I am wondering if that would be the problem. The CD's I used had a greenish backing.

    Any tips would be appreciated.

  2. Look up your Toshiba player here:

    http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php

    and see if other users have any feedback as far as preferred media, etc.

    Turns out my DVD is picky and can only read certain types so that helped alot!
    Not only am I perfect but I'm Canadian too!
