  1. I have a home network with ethernet/hpna.

My host pc (with NIC and HPNA cards) has a cable modem and a 2wire gateway/router attached.
I want to share files with friends in a channel in mirc.I can receive files from the F Server of others but they cannot get anything from me. i set up a F Server but cannot send anything to others either thru F server or DCC send.
I enabled mirc in my zonealarm settings and also in my 2wire gateway settings , i entered mirc as a application service host with port 6667.
i played around with the settings in DCC options several times but so far i cannot serve or dcc send in mirc.
    Any ideas ?
I still feel it could be something in my 2wire gateway/router but could not find anything on 2wire website

With some of those routers, You simply cannot do what you want to do.

Some of them allow you to place a computer outside of the firewall Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)

Virtual Server's are only for computers that run a server like Apache on port 80

Special Application Settings, are what you have been setting with those port numbers, have you entered a range or just one port?

    I don’t have those problems, I use a Belkin 4 port
Have you contacted them with your problem ?
