Does anyone have any experience with getting codecs to run on virtual pc? Specifically, I'm having trouble with Divx 5. It crashes whenever I try to open the viewer, and the codec doesn't seem to be recognized by other programs. Is there a trick to getting it to work, or maybe an alternative that works on VPC? I did try the Nero pack with similar lack of success.
Thanks a lot.

Why are you trying to do this when Divx 5 runs fine just on your MAC ?

because I have a file that my mac doesn't want to decode and I want to try on the pc.

What type of file is it ? Media Pipe seems to be able to read almost anything.

It's an avi. My problem is not what will read though, it but what I can get running on Virtual PC. I can't seem to install codecs of ANY sort.
