  1. Hi!

Didn't know wich topic to choose... So i choosed this one for my question..

I've dowloaded a movie with DC++.... The size of the film is exactly 700,14mb But it shows 714mb... in explorer windows....
And if I check the file size by rightclicking on it it shows 700,14mb.
I think I made a mistake when i downloaded the file....
U can as u probably know choose "Alternate download" and choose the same file and size to download from someone else... I think one of them was a bit larger then the "original" file... So windows and other software as divfix dosen't recognize the file as an avi.... Is there any solution to this problem??.

it's not 700,114 megs, that would be like close to a gigabyte.

    it's 700,114kilobytes

which translates to about 714 megs I think.

  3. 700'114 KB is 683.7 Megs. 714 megs is 731'136 KB. I think Mothman may be from a country which uses comma(,) instead of period(.) to seperate number groups. But that's niether here nor there.
First I would suggest running scandisk. It's possible that Windows is just not reporting the file size correctly. If that's not the error, try loading it into Virtual Dub and resaving it, first with direct stream copy, then by re-encoding it, and see if either file works. If after re-encoding it still won't work, all I can say is to redownload the movie.
