I'm using the Dazzle USB device and was trying to capture from a VCR to the computer initially. The video was acceptable, however the sound was like the recording level was too high. I thought about this after reading another post, but I didn't know if it would be in input ot setting problem instead. I was capturing with Magix Video Deluxe and it looked like it was going to do right.
Should I try with the MGI software that came with the Dazzle or is there something else I can try to get the sound to be more audiable?
Thanks!

I can tell you one thing, regarding this product. Throw out this and try to use other products.

I have this product and it works fine for me. I now use a video in feature of my new video card for capture but obviously some people like that other poster haven't figured out how to use it properly and therefore trash it because of their own lack of intelligence. Its not the best but it certainly not garbage and can do a decent job if used properly.
For you problem there are a couple of settings to look at. Bring up windows sound settings and lower the volume of the line in or the microphone. If your using the mic you may have to go into advanced properties and unclick the mic boost +20db. There are also sound volume settings and boost levels inside the capture program.
That will likely solve your problem.
ROBONot only am I perfect but I'm Canadian too!
