no picture on dvd player

i converted a .avi that i downloaded converted to mpg1 i played it in my dvd player and i con hear the sound of the movie but no picture

Did you burn the cd as an VCD??
If u didn't the DVD takes the cd as an audio cd....

i made it a vcd and it did the same thing so could u tell me how u do?????????

Select options > environmental settings
click the VFAPI plug-in tab
right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4

Load VCD template PAL or NTSC
Start, stop after a few min and test mpeg 1
