I don't have a fovorite burning app. This is my first time doing this. All of the link you guys have for converters, I see mpge and similar ones, but not mpg. Is there a difference?

And aslo, we are buring it on our friends burnner, and the only options they have is to burn it as a data cd or an audio cd, which one should we use?

nero or roxio has an auto vcd converter on them. Maybe telling us what your friend's burning software is would help

you should try vcdeasy, it pretty good in converting to vcd . nero is good to but it will give you some problem if your file is not perfect. roxio is good aswell asfar as i have heard.

Our friend uses an Easy CD Creator 4 by Adaptec. I don't really want to spend any money on buying any software, do you guys know of any freeware that might be good?

Easy CD has VCD option? Lauch the project selector and choose VideoDisc I think
