  1. Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a program that will let me create a video file (format isn't really important because i'll be re-encoding it with TMPGenc) which is comprised solely of scrolling text. Something like those copyright warnings you get on DVDs when you first play them, like a blue screen with text scrolling up telling you not to copy it or whatever. Does a program exist that will let me make something similar with text of my own choosing? All i want is a plain blue screen and white text scrolling upwards.

    Any suggestions are very welcome.

    Thank you.
RealaT Bytes, but that's what life is.

  3. Any standalone programs? As opposed to a plugin? Just a simple titling program that would output to an AVI file.

  4. Ulead video studio can be used to create scrolling text video file (up,down, left right, change speed, etc), as I imagine just about any good video editing software can do.

  5. Yes, I know that lots of video editing packages offer titling facilities. What I am after is a standalone video titling system, with VTR clocks, colour bars, idents, etc.

  6. Scala do one called InfoChannel - used to use it on the Amiga years ago...

May be a bit overkill for what you want though.

There doesn't seem to be anything like a simnple text generator around - lots of expensive plugins.

I just got Computer Shopper magazine (in the UK) and it has a free copy of EditStudio on the cover disk that lets you do simple scrolls and crawls.
