I have tried the various guides and the subject with mixed results. One movie I did that worked was Jerry Maguire using doom9's guide. Everything worked fine and I got to keep the original menu. But then when I tried it again with the movie Forrest Gump everything got screwed up. It would get to the menu and when I would press play everything would freeze up. Then I tried it with Saving Private Ryan this time I could not even get to the menu and it would get an error right in the very beginning. Anyone know how I can get other movies to work by splitting them and why one movie works and other do not using this method of splitting a dvd-9?
