I'm thinking aboút buying a Samsung SP4336HDX Projection TV but I have no idea about anything about these TVs... it's about 1800 dollars so It's somethin I would wanna be sure of... So Please, give me tips on these things in that price range and what to think of. I don't want to buy something that later turn up and a lousy investment.

I bought my TV about 2 years ago. I had 2 grand to spend and looked at rear projection TV's, and regular tube TV's. In the end I plumped for the phillips 36pw9525c which is a 36" widecreen regular tube set. The picture and sound are awesome, the best I've seen for this size set. For the same money I could have got a larger rear projection set, but the picture quality was nowhere near that of the philips. On most of them the colours seemed washed out and viewing at an angle was not good. Anyway things have probrably moved on since then, but I am still very pleased with my 36" widescreen phillips. In an ideal world where I was absolutely minted I would have got a plasma screen, but I just did'nt have 10 grand to spare.
