Okay,
I'm using a DIVX video and TMPGEnc's standard vcd template. When I burn and play on a standalone Apex, movement flickers. Its kind of a side to side shaking or quivering. This occured when I loaded the vid into Nero, was prompted that it wasn't compliant due to sound bitrate and encoded anyway.
When I allowed Nero to re-encode my file, the picture quality wasn't near as clear as TMPG with standard VCD settings, but it didn't flicker.
Also, on scenes that are colorful, subtitles are slightly of the bottom of the TV. Darker scenes fit. It seems to be cropping a little off the top and bottom.
How can I make it encode on TMPG and retain that quality video without that flicker. I could be wrong about the occurence of the flicker upon movement too. There's a lot of movement in this animation. It could just be intermittent flickering. Also, I've never framserved before and want to know ow to add some very small black bars on the top and bottom to push the image into range.
