When capturing to segments and then joining them all together, there is a loud beep where each file is joined. Is this down to the capture program or is it TMPEGEnc?
I capture using the PICVideo M-JPEG codec and I love the quality and low CPU consumtion, but this beeping is driving me nuts! If I can't solve this, I will be forced to either capture to one file at a time or change to MPEG-2 and have lower quality captures and more hassle editing.
Any help appreciated,

It is caused by TMPGEnc. There are workarounds to the problem in TMPGEnc, but save yourself the hassle and just frameserve your segments as one piece into TMPGEnc. This will also streamline your encoding, since you will only have to set up one job.

Thanks for the advice, I just need to learn about Frameserving now!
