  1. Hi.
I have downloaded a film in mpeg format and would like to burn it to vcd.
DivX is easy to encode and burn to vcd but, mpeg is a problem for me.
Adaptec Easy...tells me I need to encode it, so I installed: MPEG-2 VIDEO VFAPI Plug-In.
Now I try to encode it by using TMPGEnc and it seems to start up like any divX format.
The problem is: it seems to be very halting when I look in preview like it only "capture" 1 frame/10 sek.
And the time is more than 5 hrs.

    What to do?
    Anyone thanks.

    Stefan

    Try this, it might help

    Select options > environmental settings
    click the VFAPI plug-in tab
right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4

Did you load a VCD template ?
