Is there abyway to make some jpg's to a 5 sec avi fil ex. Showing 1 pic per. sec ?

I stumbled onto some of this in the how to's on the left....cant remember where do a search..... Alternatly...if you have Nero...choose VCD and instead of draging movie files just drag over any jpg's ya want...then set the delay under properties for each one.... Nero will make a VCD of the stills.....
I know thats not what ya want....but a VCD has the mpeg's as dat files onit...those can be converted back to mpgs with VCDgear in seconds...then converted(encoded to) avi or whatever by TMPG or VirtDub...

Most Video Editing programs allow this. I just tried it in Windows Movie Maker and it worked fine. My fast & easy favorite is Pinnacle Studio 7 but pick yours.
