  1. I am a novice in this and planning to convert my digital video's from my camcorder to video CD's. I read through all the related topics in vcdhelp site and arrived at some procedure.
I am not sure whether what I am planning to do is a good solution. Experts in this area please correct me if I am wrong some where and if there is a better easy way to do it.

    1. To capture video through Ulead Via fire wire. Capture for around 5 mins which occupies around 1 GB of my hard disk as it's stored in avi format. To capture lot of desired sequences in this manner.
    2. To Convert the avi files to VideoCD Using TMPGEnc with the settings of VideoCD 1246kbps (PAL).mcf to mpg files.
    3. To Join the mpg files of all sequences using TMPGEnc Tools in to a single file.
    4. To burn this single large file using Nero Rom VCD option / Plextor 16x on a CD.

I tried burning my avi directly to vcd and Nero encoded the format but I was not happy with the quality of that.

Please correct me and suggest more easier way to get good quality VCD.

    Thanks in advance

Make a SVCD Instead if you want the quality--- VCD can't compete with DV quality, only Size... There are SVCD templates in TMPGenc!
    Thanx/
